About Fimatec

Fimatec is an Atlas Copco authorized dealer and specializes in the sale, rental and service of mobile compressors, generators, light towers, sandblasting equipment and compressed air tools. In addition, our logistics team also handles and transports excavators, wheel loaders and other earthmoving equipment from our sister company Machinery Resale.

Our family-run SME is supported by a close-knit team in which each employee has a visible impact. To further support our growth, we are looking for a Logistics Assistant to help build the efficiency behind our technical service and international deliveries.

As a logistics assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading: loading and unloading the incoming and outgoing machines and their accessories safely and efficiently
  • Internal logistics of the machines: internal movements of the machines in function of the different processes as well as the organization of the different stock locations
  • Inspection second-hand machines: You thoroughly clean and inspect incoming machines such as compressors and generators plus their accessories upon arrival.
  • Identification and location assignment: Registering all data and recording the state of incoming machines in the computer system as well as assigning their physical location.
  • Stock management: periodic stock checks

What do you bring?

  • Experience: you have experience operating a forklift and various construction machines
  • Flexibility and independence: you switch smoothly between different tasks
  • Team spirit: you are sociable, customer-friendly and enjoy working together in a collegial atmosphere.
  • Language skills: you are fluent in Dutch. Notions of French and English are a plus
  • Order and tidiness: you have an eye for order and tidiness and take initiative to keep your work environment clean and organized
  • Safety: while manipulating the various machines, you have sufficient attention to the safety of both yourself and your surroundings.
  • Knowledge: basic knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
